Trying to keep up with my New Year’s resolution of getting into shape, I recently bought myself a membership at Dynamic Health and Fitness. For those who are unaware, it is located just beside Starbucks by the westbound platform in New Westminster SkyTrain station.
Memphis blues was started by a couple of guys who fell in love with southern barbecue and decided to bring the smoky flavour to Vancouver. I decided to check out the barbecue house named after what Men’s Fitness ranked the fourth fattest city in America and notorious for being the bane of vegetarians by putting meat in everything.

What are your first impressions of them? Both seem to be in their mid-60s, victims of mental illness, and possible addicts. If seen on public transit, many would want to avoid eye contact or position themselves away from them to avoid conversation.
Sneezing is a natural phenomenon which is a response to any unwanted particle in our respiratory system that enters it and causes irritation. It is a reflex action and therefore is controlled by the brain directly. The sensors present on the internal lining of the respiratory system detect any foreign particle and send a signal to brain for the sneeze reflex to thrust it out.
For better or worse, the Internet—and, consequently, social media—has spent the past 15 or so years establishing itself no longer as a luxury, but a utility. A complete and utter necessity for governments and citizens of the first world.
There comes a point in every Other Press Editor-in-Chief’s career when they get a little bit burnt out and exhausted, and the weekly writing of a 500-or-so-word Lettitor becomes increasingly daunting. I feel I reached that point months ago, and have attempted to truck along as though I have all the inspo in the world.
You may be asking yourself why I would be reviewing the third book in a series. Well, the answer is it’s in honour of illustrator Stephen Sadowski, who is coming to Vancouver Fan Expo in April, and who didn’t join the project until the third volume. Unfortunately, it’s probably the worst of the series.

I wouldn’t have thought we’d get a sequel to 2010’s sci-fi, dude comedy Hot Tub Time Machine, but if there was any comedy that was good enough to deserve a sequel, it was that one.
