Royals surpass ‘steep slope’

On January 10, Douglas College’s men’s volleyball team faced off against the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) Cascades. The Royals, coming into the game atop the PACWEST division standings with an impressive 10 wins and two losses, were looking to further their season’s success and shut the door on one of the only teams to have bested them.

A look at the Canucks’ 2014

By the conclusion of the 2013/14 season, a number of drastic changes had occurred for the Canucks. With new head coach Willie Desjardins taking over and former iconic player Trevor Linden becoming president of Hockey Operations and alternative governor, the Canucks were able to begin the next season with more positive progression.
