On Friday, September 27, an estimated 100,000 people in Vancouver marched from City Hall through downtown as part of the Global Climate Strike protests. The protests are inspired by the actions of 16-year-old Greta Thunberg and led by teens who left school and work to attend the strike. Although most of the protesters are not yet old enough to vote, they are using their voices to try to force policy change.
