Vancouver is well-known for its breakout music scene. Some of Canada’s biggest artists have come from the area—Hedley, Hey Ocean! , Marianas Trench, Bryan Adams, Carly Rae Jepsen, Sarah McLachlan, and of course, Nickelback.
Every year, chocolates, flowers, and heart-shaped everything come out at the earliest opportunity. The restaurants have their specials, the radio stations play even more love songs, and there’s a general feeling of love in the air. It’s Valentine’s season, a time to really make your romantic partner feel special. Singles every year lament its existence by drinking wine and complaining on Facebook (don’t be that guy).
Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to watch a love movie. However, the traditional romantic comedy isn’t to everyone’s tastes. Whether you’re part of a couple that’s bored with the same typical plot or you’re spending the holiday alone, there are many great love movies still available.
First of all, I’d like to say that working in a home office that happens to be literal Hell is still less Hell than a standard office workplace. Congratulations on setting up what most people are too weak/insane/cheap to do.

An average class is full of cups of delicious drinks providing students the energy they need to get through the day, no matter what time it is. Caffeinated beverages are even more prevalent during the winter months now, as a new semester begins.
Most of us make some form of New Year’s resolution. Maybe it’s a solid list of goals, maybe it’s just a vague Facebook status about having a positive, better year than before. For the first few weeks, we may even try to implement those goals by making changes in our routines.
