Our personal time is in many ways the biggest and most valuable commodity. Not only is it the only possession we have that can never be regained, but it’s the only commodity that everyone in the world has an equal amount of. We all have the same number of hours in a day in the end, although the activities we occupy it with and the efficiency in managing it varies.

Meet Don and Avril Cummings.

What are your first impressions of them? Both seem to be in their mid-60s, victims of mental illness, and possible addicts. Their physical appearances are lacking soberness in many areas: unkempt hair, baggy clothes, and an almost childlike demeanour. If seen on public transit, many would want to avoid eye contact or position themselves away from them to avoid conversation.
