Before YouTube was overrun by cat videos, it was a platform for comedy. So let’s remember the classics.
This week’s comedy classic is a dark comedy animation that depicts the story of Wilson the volleyball from the film Cast Away after coming back from shooting the film. It deals with everything from Wilson’s coke addition to the drama of his wife’s affair that resulted in her pregnancy. Created by filmmaker Christopher Aitken, it started as a one-minute animation assignment and ended up becoming a five-minute passion project.
